ISSUE 1:: 4U MAG’S FIRST COVERCHILD ON WHY QUEERS MAKE THE BEST RAPPERS

Baltimore’s DDM was the first rapper to come out of the closet in Charm City. And like a charm, AHDM4U fell in love with the guy on his first trip to perform on the West Coast. Editor Caitlin Donohue interviewed him before his gig at SF’s queer hip hop dance party Swagger Like Us about coming out on a mainstream hip-hop website, and on why you should never battle rap a gay man without extensive preparation.

Love him as much as we do? Duh. And he’s back in San Francisco this weekend for Pride, playing House of Babes at Public Works on Saturday, June 29th.
