Easter is upon us bbs, and what better way to celebrate the holiday than devoting a column to pastels — namely, my top five pink lipsticks? After all, every gal needs to have at least one, no matter your age or skin type. So let’s get hoppin’ (ha!) on these shades, guaranteed to make you feel pretty in a flash. Happy Easter! And no, I’m not forgetting 420 for all my green-loving hunnies. Get it. Love it. HASHTAGME.

Since Pantone announced Radiant Orchid as its color of the 2014, I had to add this pink undertone shade! MAC’s Heroine is a show-stopping fuchsia. Once on, it will intrigue the eye of your boo with a matte texture isn’t drying at all and glides right on. // GET IT

This classic MAC color is true to its name! Girl About Town is a fun-loving fuchsia that works well with every skin tone. Its vibrant hue is enough to carry a face with little to no extra makeup. Creamy yet lasting, and rarely smudges // GET IT

Left to right: MAC Heroine, MAC Girl About Town, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Anime, Bite Fig, Smashbox Pout

Obsessive Compulsive’s Anime is a divine lip tar in a serious neon, a Technicolor pink that is true to the pigment and goes the distance. Dab it on or layer for a more intense pop of color, this is a layerable pink. // GET IT

Bite has made a lovely nude pink with Fig. It’s nicely pigmented, super creamy (note: be on guard with creamy lipsticks — they tend to melt in your purse) texture glides on. This is the perfect pink for a natural everyday look that’s not too bold. // GET IT

Smashbox’s Pout is a icy baby pink. It’s a non-drying, sheer shade that has a plumping effect on lips. It gives shine like a lipgloss while retaining the pigment of a lipstick. Looks great when doing smokey eye look! // GET IT

AND NOW FOR CHI CHI’S 420 STONER BEAUTY TIP :: Now I’m not a big pot smoker, but for all you stoner babes out there looking to conceal your red eyes I suggest using … sunglasses! Works like a charm, every time.

But seriously though, for red eyes try some produce. Cold cucumber slices or even chilled banana peels work! Place the cucumber slice or inside surface of the banana peel on puffy, stoned eyes, trip out for 10-15 minutes and voila, you’re good to go for your next session. Bring a cooler full of chilled peels and cucumber slices to Golden Gate Park on Sunday for the 35th anniversary of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence’s Easter extravaganza and you’ll be a huge hit with all your marijuana-happy friends.
