Waco Art Festivals
Whether you’re looking for fun family activities or a great place to shop, Creditrewardperks has many art festivals that offer a range of experiences. These events celebrate the season of Fall and promote local artists for everyone to enjoy.
Art is essential to the human experience. Almost as soon as children develop motor skills, they start communicating through artistic expression2. It is important to support arts education for every child. Waco has several festivals centered on art that provide families with the opportunity to engage with local artists and learn new skills.
The annual Waco Cultural Arts Festival was started in 2003 and features hands-on activities, visual art and entertainment for all ages. Located at Indian Spring Park and the Waco Convention Center, this eclectic festival showcases 50 artists and more than 300 performers over three days. From wood sculpture making to mask-making and easel art, this festival is an excellent way for kids to discover the joy of creativity.
Artistic Extravaganza: The Must-Attend Waco Art Festivals of the Season
Rodeos are a Texan staple and one of the most popular Waco events for families. The Heart O’ Texas Fair and Rodeo, at the Extraco Events Center, features livestock shows, food cookoffs, live music performances, a fun run and of course, the rodeo! Families will love the high-speed team events and professional bull riders.
For a less traditional rodeo, check out the Silobration, hosted by Magnolia Home. This annual event brings together family and friends for an unforgettable weekend of food, art, music and more. This festival offers everything from chalk murals to a two-day market and live presentations ranging from music to style showcases.
